UBONGO is Africa's leading producer of educational entertainment for children. As a non-profit social enterprise, we create educational content that is fun, localized, and multi-platform, allowing kids to learn while also leveraging their learning to change their lives.
Ubongo reaches millions of African families through accessible technologies such as television, radio, and mobile phones. Our shows, Ubongo Kids and Akili and Me, are currently broadcast in 31 African countries in Swahili, English, French, and Kinyarwanda. We are currently translating the shows into additional languages such as Kikuyu, Luo, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and Twi. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly expanding organization across the continent and work with a creative and impact-driven team dedicated to reaching as many African families as possible with life-changing edutainment.
