Morogoro District Council is one among the 9 Districts in Morogoro Region .The District is situated at North East of Morogoro Region somewhere in the range of 6º00' and 8º00' Latitudes South of Equator additionally between Longitudes 36º00' and 38º' East of Greenwich. It is lined by Bagamoyo and Kisarawe districts (Coast region) toward the East, Kilombero district toward the south and Mvomero district toward the North and West.
