JOB SUMMARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(i) Conducting patrol activities in and across the Park;
(ii) Guarding visitors, personnel and their homes and making sure their security;
(iii) Enforcing National Parks laws,policies and regulations;
(iv)Responding to emergency conditions inclusive of rescue and instituting FirstAid;
(v)Participating in marking,clearing and safety of park boundary
(vi) Reporting on subjects regarding the security, protection and standard operations of there respective segment to the on the spot superior;
(vii)Checking, searching, apprehending and/or arresting person/people suspected of flora and fauna offences;
(viii)Ensuring protection of sentry place and take care of all incidences;
(ix)Participating in habitual and ad–hocparades;
(x) Investigating subjects regarding feasible flora and fauna offences and deliver proof earlier than the courtroom docket of law;
(xi)Participatinginjointprotectionactivitieswithotherwildlifeinstitutionsandlawenforcementagenciesin, round and cross–borders;
(xii)Participatingincollaborativepatroloperationswithadjacentcommunitiesinprotectingpropertiesand human life;
(xiii)Participating in ecological tracking sports inclusive of animal fitness tracking,animal counts/census,climate facts collection, early burning, hearthplace suppression and GIS; and
(xiv)Performing different associated responsibilities as can be assigned through the superior.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with Basic or Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management or One-yr National Service Certificate
