UG First Line Leader
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
North Mara Gold Mine Limited is in search of to recruit One (1) UG First Line Leader to enroll in Underground Mining Production crew. The successful candidate could be accountable for supervision of the mine crews, to make sure protection is controlled, and general performance is monitored and efficient. Ensure that any non-conforming items (Quality and quantity) are immediately remoted and said for corrective action to be taken.
Reporting to: Mine Foreman
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise underground operations crews.
Ensures compliance with the Mines Act.
Ensures administrative center protection and environmental standards are hooked up and met, and that requirements and methods are communicated to site employees.
Ensure day by day mine plan for the shift is executed and compliance to mine to plot.
Assists with filling personnel necessities for mine and other departments.
Assists with sourcing and filling device desires.
Prioritizes obligations and delegates workload to mine crews and video display units progress.
Provides leadership and encourages overall performance and make certain the crew is taking the ownership.
Communicates routinely and efficiently with the Mine Manager and other supervisory personnel as required.
Performs other associated responsibilities that may be required.
Full compliance with underground safety management plan.
Assist with twist of fate/incident investigation and education of recent personnel.
Ensure all employees reporting to this position attend protection related schooling guides and interact in any of the groups protection tasks.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years’ enjoy in underground operations.
Good organizational and conversation competencies.
Knowledge and information of analyzing drawings and potential to observe specifications.
A diploma or Diploma in Mining Engineering may be of added gain.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous supervisory experience in underground mine and understanding of sublevel stoping underground Mining technique.
The strong capacity to shape effective working relationships that allow success of task necessities.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a crew, talk efficaciously and power outcomes.
Strong interpersonal and conversation capabilities with the capability to have interaction with team, management, and clients.
Possess knowledge of Industry widespread secure operating practices.
