Service Technician-4 Positions
Location: Mwanza
Service Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and protection of mechanical and / or electric components of underground and surface mining system and additives in line with described specs and is likewise responsible for new system commissioning and training at consumer sites.
Responsibilities:
Inspecting equipment for correct performance and determining faults and malfunctions
Adjusting equipment & repairing/replacing faulty components components or structures consistent with scope of labor to restore device to authentic manufacture specifications
Testing repaired gadget to ensure proper operational overall performance
Completing accurate time information, technical reviews, failure reviews, and parts lists.
Staying modern-day with enterprise, client, product traits and technical first-class practices
Complying with SMRT protection policies and figuring out/reporting any dangerous work conduct
Maintaining hand gear and device to make certain secure operation
Other duties as assigned with the aid of the Manager
Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Field and Experience in Heavy Duty Equipment (or equivalent)
At least5 years’ related revel in with mining system (surface and underground)
Previous revel in with Sandvik gadget could be an brought advantage
Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and restore electrical and mechanical issues with mining equipment
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Valid motive force’s license is needed
Ability and willingness to paintings varied shifts (as required)
