GENERAL PURPOSE
Under direct supervision of the Country Director, the RCP Program Accountant is predicted to perform economic obligations around accounting cycles and inner manipulate surroundings, consisting of; to make certain accuracy of accounting facts, compliance to organizational guidelines and techniques and statutory obligations.

To make sure scanning of charge vouchers for uploading into Global Volunteers systems

Ensure that an updated property check in is maintained
Assist any operational demanding situations or discrepancies referring to economic management in a well timed way
Ensure induction trainings for all group of workers on topics associated with finance and compliance
Ensure accuracy of posting in accordance with Global Volunteers rules and guidelines
Follow up on pending increase/receivables, mortgage balances from personnel members
Provide support to Country Director on ensuring human assets and administrative structures, processes and compliances are consistent with Global Volunteers and Tanzania legal guidelines and guidelines
Payroll: Subject to approval through the RCP Director to make sure that the payroll is carefully and as it should be organized each month and that each one salaries are paid with the aid of the final running day of every month.
Insurance: Checking that every one Global Volunteers homes and cars are ensured.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree/Adv. Diploma in Accounting /Finance
At least 2 – 3 years accounting and administration enjoy , preferably with International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGO) or NGO
Evidence based know-how of automated accounting utility is a should requirement with strong analytical skills in spreadsheets
